Vitamin B2 prevents from cataracts (cataract), helps heal skin. Riboflavin is a water-soluble vitamin B group, which is involved in converting proteins, fats and carbohydrates into energy needed for the organism. Insufficient level of riboflavin is often accompanied by other vitamin B group, which is often in people of advanced age and alcoholics.

It can be used as a stand-alone food supplement, along with other B complex vitamins.
